Welcome to Masifundisane Family And Children's Ministry
ORGANIZATION AND MISSION
In 11 June 2011 Masifundisane Family And Children's Ministry was established as non-profit organization with the purpose of providing a safe, where inner-city youth participate in a comprehensive program of soccer and ruby for academic tutoring that promotes the physical, educational and life skills necessary to prepare and empower them for leadership in their communities and success in their personal lives. We heard too much about crime, truancy, substance abuse, obesity, teen pregnancy, and academic failure. But all that is changing, and the Masifundisane Family and Children's Ministry is playing a big part in the transformation. Now, instead of seeing throngs of kids hanging out on street corners with nothing to do but engage in illicit activity, you might see kids enjoying After school child support and sport like soccer and netball in afternoon. All this AFTER they have finished their homework with the help of tutors and mentors. First Serve program providing homework assistance and mentoring that promote life skills and character development through the soccer and netball.

To give individual attention to children, families and focuses on mentorship, targeted enrichment, group support prevention and social education.
Our Programmes
After School Child Support
Our After School Child Support Programme hepls school going Chidren through their home works, especially in Mathematic, English and Science.
What happens at the after-care?
Ideal after-school care should be centred around the holistic development of a child, with a combination of free and structured play. Well-run after-school care programmes will include supervise homework (if required); engaging activities such as arts and crafts, sports and games, music, drama, experiments and technology experiments; and well-supervised free play.
Social Counselling
Counselling for Social Change offers an accepting and confidential space to discuss any issues currently affecting your life and work. We work in a supportive and empathic way to help you through life's challenges. Helping Vulnerable Children and families.Also counselling young stars, who are under substance abuse, early teenage pregnancy , truancy and Depression especially HIV Awareness,domestic Violence.
Our Youth development programme provides a wide range of services, opportunities and support to young people as well as their families. Our programme builds on the strengths of young people through skills development, leadership training, mentoring and transitioning youth through different life and problem stages.
